A total of 20 blog posts are required over the course of the semester. Beginning this week, students must post at least twice a week. If you post more than twice, I will grade your two best posts. Weekly blog posts are due by 8:00 p.m. each Saturday. No late work is accepted.
Each post will be graded on content, grammar, spelling, relevance, and when specific kinds of posts are assigned, if they meet the stated objective of the assignment. Blog posts can be brief, but should be informative and accurate. Students should seek to balance opinion and original reporting over the course of the semester. Students should distinguish between factual information and commentary.
Each post is worth 10 points and will be graded on the following items:
1 point = Compelling, descriptive headline that uses keywords
3 points = Post content (text, photo, video, etc) provides useful information to the reader.

- If information or content is not original, you must link to the source of information.
- Link to additional information that allows the reader to explore the topic further.
- Links are formatted into text and functional.
