Week 12

In Class:
-Live blogging
-Wednesday’s Online Journalism 1 is an open lab workday. It’s a great day to edit some video for an upcoming post or use the time to do this week’s post. Thursday’s class is a regular class period. Prof. Berkey-Gerard will be back on Thursday.

Assignments:
-Blog Post 13 (Free Choice) due by 8:00 p.m. on Saturday
-Blog Post 14 (Video) due by Saturday, April 21

Video post requirements:
-Cover an event, person, or story suited for video (i.e.,
action/emotion/opinion)
-Use headline and text for background and context; use video for visuals
-Shorter is better (Maximum length 2 min)
-Posted to YouTube or Vimeo and embedded on your blog
-No webcam interviews (i.e., sitting and talking into computer). Get out and shoot something happening.
-It should be worth watching.
