Post 9: Audio with Photo due April 6

Due Sunday, April 6 at 10 p.m. (Worth 50 points)

Note: Here are step-by-step instructions for how to upload, edit and post your audio for this assignment

Find a relevant and compelling person with something to say about your topic. Have a backup plan.

Prepare and research your questions. Do an in-person interview with your audio recorder/cellphone

Photograph your subject. Make sure your photo is clear, in focus, and that we can see the person’s face.

Edit your audio interview to a maximum of 2 minutes. It is OK if your questions are heard, but it is probably best to only hear subject because that way they get more time and focus.

Write up a short introduction to your post. Who is the person? Why is she/he someone we should hear from? What does she/he have to say? Tease your audio. Your text should motivate your reader to listen to the audio. Include hyperlinks in text for more information.

Post your text introduction, a photo of the subject, and your edited audio interview in a single blog post. Write a compelling headline that includes your subject’s name and uses descriptive key-words.

Check out this example from a former student: DIVE IN AND LISTEN TO TAMMY DECKER, DESCRIBE AQUA SPIN CLASSES AT THE COUNTY POOL IN CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE, NEW JERSEY
